Quick plug for the August Social Meeting on August 27th in the DC at 7PM. We will be gathering for fellowship with our Brother Knights and families, so bring a snack and/or beverage if you would like. We will also be tackling two other items:
- Elli’s House – a local organization that works to end human trafficking. We will be assembling 60 lunches for them to pass out as the serve those in Detroit. A representative from Elli’s House will be there to give a presentation on the work they do that we will be supporting.
- Insurance Information – In the past, we have held “Benefit Nights” where our Field Agent would present on Insurance offerings. This no longer counts for our goals, and we need to have 11 Associate Members (those who do not have an insurance product with the Knights) meet individually with our Field Agent. This is a lot of work for Glain, being that we are not his only council to meet with that many individuals. We are attempting to knock out a few of those meetings all at once. You do not need to purchase a product for the meeting to count toward our 11. Even if you think you are fully covered, it does not hurt to have a new set of eyes review your current situation and offer suggestions. Glain will be holding 15-30 minute consultation sessions to go over your current situation and offer help where needed. To make the session most useful, please come with your current life insurance situation (what do you/spouse have, if any), any work coverage, retirement plan, and an open mind. SIGN UP HERE
