Our 1st Annual St. John the Baptist Bonfire Night is shaping up to be an exciting evening of faith, fellowship, family fun, great food, music, games, s’mores, and our new “Burn Your Burdens” prayer experience.
We need your help to make this event a success!

✅ We need help with setup, food service, hospitality, games, firewood, and cleanup.
We are also looking for materials for the bonfire and activity areas. If you have any of the following, please let us know in advance:

🧱 Brick pavers
🏖️ Sand
🎯 Lawn games (Cornhole, Ladder Toss, Giant Jenga, Connect Four, etc.)

This weekend after all Masses, we will be introducing our new “Burn Your Burdens” prayer activity. Parishioners will have the opportunity to write down a burden, worry, struggle, or prayer intention and place it in a confidential collection box. These intentions will be prayerfully offered and burned at the bonfire as a symbol of entrusting our burdens to Christ.
Thank you to everyone who has already volunteered, donated materials, and helped spread the word. Together we are building what we hope will become a wonderful annual tradition for St. Anastasia.
