Sign-Ups for Blessed Mothers Event Are Now Open

Council 5452’s Blessed Mothers Event is a little over five weeks away.  We believe it is going to be a meaningful event for the participating crisis pregnancy centers/pregnancy resource centers and the mothers they serve.  Eighteen of an expected 30+ mothers who have chosen life have already signed up to attend the event, with many of those coming from La Casa Amiga, a Catholic Charities organization.

We have created Sign-Up-Genius pages for those who want to attend the event and/or make a financial contribution at https://tinyurl.com/5dy75ssf, or who want to donate a “shower gift” raffle prize at https://tinyurl.com/2usd422v.  As you can see, the baby registry has options for car seats, strollers, cribs, pak-n-plays, changing tables, baby monitors, etc.  It is our goal to have at least one such raffle prize for each of the mothers who attend.

Thank you to those of you who have already indicated that you or your council will be supporting our event.  I invite the others to join with us to make sure that the mothers obtain the kind of baby accessories that they might not be able to otherwise afford and to provide meaningful funding to the pregnancy resource centers.
